The Dance That Drinks Party
The party begins their research!
Week 1:
- Snirf slaves away in the fleshwarping pits. He learns some stuff, and… acquires some stuff.
- Harvey does some history research. He doesn’t find out much of anything.
- Fuirpleace gets his “Robe of Voidfrost” resized, and then helps
Wondermitch with looking for books on the Dark Tapestry
- We learn they have no books on the Dark Tapestry
- We find many books on genealogy, history, songs, poems and the like
about drow families and alchemy. Specifically, we discovered several
songs referencing Emperor Melibonn.
- We learn his house, Clan Sotol
- We find several songs, with some notes pointing us to additional potential sources of information!
- Fuirpleace gets biggoted for being a free orc, and has to murder a drow! There’s a small ambush as well, and Stax follows them back to a house.
- Snirf gets harassed at work, and asks Harvey to handle the HR responsibilities.
Week 2:
- We learn we’re unlikely to have access to the Scrivenbough, since we’re not members of the cult of Abraxis. In order to gain access to the Matriarch’s libraries, we’ll need to impress one of the Matriarch’s family members.
- Awfuleah tasks us with disrupting a raid on a caravan of magic mushrooms.
- We set out to the suspected ambush location, and find the ambush by
tripping it! COMBAT!!
- We relatively easily deal with the drow raid, killing them to the last man.
- We find some demonic symbols of Andirifkhu.
- We tail the caravan, no further troubles. We return to Sussil territory, and are told we’ve done adaquately.

- During an evening, one of the male drow assigned to spy/assist/tend-to us, while looking into a nearby pool of water, gets haunted by the Light creature, and the creature gives Wondermitch (the hero!) a magical lantern. With it, Wondermitch will be able to bring enlightenment and glory of The New Sun, protecting this world from the darkness and itself.
